We love this program because it allows us to plan ahead. We know how much meat we will need over the upcoming months so that we know exactly how many animals we need to raise and butcher. There are three subscription sizes to fit your family's needs:
SMALL
MEDIUM
LARGE
A medium subscription would be about 20-25 lbs of meat a month. An example of what this might look like is: 4 packages of grilling sausage, 2 package of breakfast sausage, 12 pork chops, 2 packages of ground pork, 3 packages of bacon, 8 hamburger patties, 4 packages of lean ground beef, 1 beef roast, and 2 package of steaks.
A small subscription would have about 10-15 lbs of meat a month. An example of what this might look like is: 1 whole chicken, 2 packages of grilling sausage, 1 package of bacon, 4 pork chops, 3 packages of ground beef, 2 sirloin steaks, 1 package of stew meat and 1 package of soup bones.
A large subscription would be around 30-35 lbs of meat a month. An example of what this might look like is: 2 whole chickens, 1 pork roast, 3 packages of bacon, 6 packages of grilling sausage, 12 pork chops, 8 packages of lean ground beef, 3 packages of steak, 2 packages of beef stew meat.
What meat is included in your subscription
At Netherleigh Farm we raise pastured pork, chickens, turkeys, lamb, and eggs as well as grass finished beef, therefore our customers can expect a variety of frozen pork and beef cuts including smoked and green bacon, breakfast sausage, a variety of grilling sausage including chorizo, mild italian, honey garlic, fine herbs, jalapeno cheddar, and garlic pepper, pork chops, pork ribs, pork roasts, ground pork, smoked hams, lean ground beef, pork and beef pepperettes, beef patties, beef stew meat, beef roasts, and a variety of steaks. Customers will also receive a number of whole chickens throughout the season and can request a turkey or farm fresh eggs as well. We customize every order to suit the family we are delivering to. *Gluten free sausages are available
Delivery locations and times
Chelsea, Aylmer, Hull, and the Pontiac area:
on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the early evening
Kanata, Stittsville, and Bells Corners:
on the first Tuesday of each month in the late afternoon/early evening

*Please note: you do not need to be home to receive your delivery. A cooler with ice packs can be left on the porch for us to place your meat (for a short period of time, weather-dependent)

Total cost: $891 (including $75 one time shipping & handling fee)
Payable by 6 postdated cheques of $148.50 due on first delivery
Medium Subscription
Approximately 20-25 lbs of meat per month
Total cost: $1371 (including $75 one time shipping & handling fee)
Payable by 6 postdated cheques of $228.50 due on first delivery
Large Subscription
Approximately 30-35 lbs of meat per month
Total cost: $1863 (including $75 one time shipping & handling fee)
Payable by 6 postdated cheques of $310.50 due on first delivery
